I got a warrant out for my arrest and a sign that says they want me dead or alive, this time I'm not going down without a fight. I warned them they didn't listen I've got a marksmanship aim. I can hear them in the distance they are calling my name. Here we go, I'm on the run again, I think they caught me this time. What no one knows is that I'm innocent, I didn't do the crime. You better believe me when I say I'm not doing the time. They march through the city in their angry mob committee. They're gonna find me, they're gonna bind me, they're gonna rip inside me. So I hopped on my horse and headed straight out of town, one thing's for sure I'm not sticking around. Here we go, I'm on the run again, I think they caught me this time. What no one knows is that I'm innocent, I didn't do the crime. You better believe me when I say I'm not doing the time. Everyone was invited to come and see the killer being held at the Primm Penitentiary. They had planned to take me to the electric chair but when they arrived at my cell, I wasn't there. Here we go, I'm on the run again, I think they caught me this time. What no one knows is that I'm innocent, I didn't do the crime. You better believe me when I say I'm not doing the time.
